The right kart type should not be missing for our young drivers either. We have summarized the most important information about our junior karts.

JUNIOR KARTS: LITTLE RACING DRIVERS TAKE OFF

In our current series of blog articles, we introduce you to the different types of karts that we use. Last week we presented you our premium karts with which you can really accelerate. Today we continue with our kart for young drivers, the SiNUS MiNi Juniorkart!

DRIVING FUN FOR THE LITTLE ONES

So that our younger guests don’t miss out, we have junior karts in use. Children from 8 years of age can try out karting with us. In addition, however, they must be at least 1.35 m tall to ensure that they can operate the accelerator and brake pedals. For reasons of fairness and safety, our junior karts always run in a separate run, in which only children with junior karts or our so-called “two-seaters”, which we will introduce to you in more detail next week, ride along.

LEARN KARTING IN OUR KARTING SCHOOL

Aside from the regular training runs for children, young kart fans also have the opportunity to drive our junior karts as part of our children’s kart school. Here, theoretical and practical learning units convey how safety and speed can be increased by avoiding driving errors. Our children’s kart school takes place regularly, the dates can be found on our homepage.

HIGHEST SECURITY

Our junior karts, like all our karts, are of course serviced every day according to a comprehensive inspection plan. In order to create maximum safety for the young kart enthusiasts, the karts also have a roll bar made of extra sturdy special tubing and an impact protection on the steering wheel. The braking system used as standard in the SiNUS MiNi works hydraulically and is considered extremely safe.

OUR JUNIOR KARTS: IMPORTANT DATES AT A GLANCE

Finally, we present a few technical data on our junior kart for you. The junior karts are powered by an electric motor and each kart weighs around 170 kg. The performance of the karts is reduced to 5.5 HP, so that our young kart drivers can reach a maximum speed of 40 km / h. The built-in steering wheel is from Caliba and the tires are from Dunlop.

The last article in this series will follow next week, in which we will introduce you to our two-seater kart.
